Dog License

Pursuant to Sec. 18-12.05, Rockland Code of Ordinances, it is unlawful for any person in the Town of Rockland to own, harbor, or keep any dog more than five months of age, without a license. The license year is January 1 through December 31.

License can be applied for as follows:

Apply By Mail:

1. Dog License Application Form
   APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE TRANSMITTED BY FAX OR THROUGH INTERNET E-MAIL - THEY MUST BE MAILED ALONG WITH YOUR PAYMENT AND ANY OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
2. Enclose a check (made payable to the Town of Rockland) for the following fees:
         • $10.00 for a male or female dog OR
           $5.00 for a male dog that is neutered or a female dog that is spayed
         • $40.00 for a kennel license
3. Enclose a self-addressed stamped business size envelope for the return of your documents and your new license.
