Fire Departments:
Fire protection is provided to the Town of Rockland by two volunteer fire departments. The Morrison Volunteer Fire Department has 37 certified active volunteer firefighters and covers a total rural area of approximately 64 square miles. It provides direct fire protection to approximately one-third of the Town of Rockland’s geographic area, or everything to the east of CTH PP. The Greenleaf Volunteer Fire Department has 45 certified active firefighters and covers a total rural area of approximately 56 square miles. It provides direct fire protection to approximately two-thirds of the Town of Rockland’s geographic area, or everything west of CTH PP.
On the third Saturday of each July, the Greenleaf Fire Department has its annual fundraising picnic at Greenleaf Fireman’s Park. It is their major fund raising activity and offers great fun and food for all.

Rescue Services:
Non-fire EMS service is provided by County Rescue. County Rescue is a 501-C (3) non-profit organization that has been in operation since 1982. They currently employ approximately 180 licensed medical personnel ranging from Volunteer Medical First Responders to Critical Care Trained (CCT) Paramedics who respond to emergency 911 calls from each of their four stations located in Bellevue, Howard, Suamico and Denmark. All calls to the County Rescue from Rockland residents are dispatched through the Brown County Sheriff’s Department and serviced from its station in Bellevue.

Police Services:
Police services are provided by the Brown County Sheriff Department. The Sheriff’s Department provides emergency and non-emergency protection services to the Town of Rockland from their headquarters in Bellevue.
