Joint Municipal Court

The Town of Rockland is a member of the Brown County Joint Municipal Court which services ten municipal towns in Brown County. Municipal citations issued by the Town of Rockland will be processed and handled through the municipal court. Town officials may on occasion issue citations to residents for violation of the Code of Ordinances as deemed necessary. The Town’s first course of action is to work with individual residents in an attempt to resolve the problem before a citation is issued. Citations are issued as final recourse when residents continually fail to comply with the Town Board’s request for action to comply with the Code of Ordinances.

The Municipal Judge serves a four year term and the current presiding Judge is Cletus Hubers.
